A transforming double-faced card enters the battlefield with its front face up by default, unless a spell or ability instructs you to put it onto the battlefield transformed or allows you to cast it transformed, in which case it enters with its back face up

These Pokmon are legendary for their abilities, design, and role in the trading card game

This is obviously pretty hard to set up in Constructed decks, where you're limited to four copies per card, and it's even more useless in singleton formats like Commander with a few obvious exceptions
