I look to the Chancellor cycle from New Phyrexia and see overlooked creatures in the Blue, Green and Black pieces of the cycle

Allowing your creatures that die to come back as 1/1s (3/3s essentially with Brenard's pump ability) is already pretty good, which gives this legendary creature a bit of an aristocratic edge

First edition copies of this card are noticeably higher priced, with heavily played (HP) starting things off at $16, with moderately played (MP) cards following suit with sales around $25

Yet another very expensive card that many will never have
