Viking Birka Buckle- 40/45 mm Strap Width Renaissance The artefact travelled from ScandinaviaThis buckle features a horse motif and is suitable for straps 40 45mm wide. You will need to taper the end of your belt blank to 30mm to enable the strap to fit through the buckle. The back of the buckle has four posts which are peened down to attach the buckle. This buckle is most suitable for early Middle Ages, Dark Ages and Viking era belts. Based on an original archaeological artifact from Birka Sweden (grave find 750). The artefact is currently
