Although there's recursion text on the card that is useful without the shrines package, it's very rarely used to command anything but a shrines deck

It'll be interesting to see if that's how it plays out, or if Flare of Denial is even played consistently, but its flexibility and interesting impact on game states make it the most intriguing MH3 spoiler so far

I wouldn't bother trying to push this up past bracket 3, but if you wanted a 5/c Spider-Man deck where the commander was just there for the colors, you could get up to all kinds of nonsense
