While I wasnt entirely sure about the change following over 25 years of collecting the gold/yellow border cards, even I have to admit how smart and sleek they look especially on the etched foil
But the real treasure is its ETB ability that lets you swipe an instant or sorcery from an opponents graveyard, exile it, and cast it that turn using any mana, making it beneficial for attrition or grindy matches
Breaking all the cards down by color is one way to make things a little more manageable
This should have been a Crab, though
Such an innocuous card at face value, Elvish Visionary has been the glue holding together a lot of the decks Ive played over the years
The boardwipe may have to resolve to deal with a player who has a way bigger board presence than your own and having the option to take yours back so you come out on top one turn later feels amazing
