Château Micalet Haut-Médoc, 2018 Francoise especially on the Pinot NoirA classic Haut Mdoc produced with a high proportion of Petit Verdot, one of Bordeauxs lesser known red grape varieties. Gentle crme de cassis, stone fruits and coffee notes along with toasted accents. An utterly charming medium bodied wine aged in oak for 12 months. The balance, the fresh acidity and the suggestion of sweet fruits on the palate make this Chteau Micalet extremely enjoyable now.
