There is a shed near where I live that has been re-roofed with this wonderful pink tin

hence the title of the painting "Shelter"

A lovely bright yellow flower recognised all over the world and synonymous with the start of spring

from cold and rain

I collected some of this pink seaweed and incorporated it into the final painting

"unfinished" Size:16in x 20in There is a shed nearThis wonderful piece of art was done by June aged 15. The accuracy and detail given to the flowers is wonderful and the colours so perfect. I found the original while sorting out a room in my house and my daughter said that prints would be really lovely so here we are! I find it interesting that the flowers I chose to do such as nasturtiums and montbretia and two prolific plants to be found in my garden now, 67 years later!
